How the game is scored

Put at least two chips in the bottleneck and make it your largest allocation to earn a correct call. A tie for your largest allocation doesn’t earn a correct call. From round four, fast-expanding shortages become decoys.

Bottlenecks return 24% to 34.5% on allocated capital. Other sectors lose 5.5% or 16%. Points reward portfolio returns and correct-call streaks. More capital at risk increases both potential points and potential losses. The bottleneck has the largest (100 − capacity) × years to expand.

Fail to allocate all four chips before time expires and lose 8% of your capital. Below $7,500 ends the run. These are game rules, not market forecasts.
