What "locked" means
Your next annual renewal is $399 or $899. So is each renewal after that, for as long as your membership stays continuously active. If our list prices rise, yours does not. The lock is on the price, never on you: you can stop the renewal any time.
The lock ends if the membership lapses. Come back later and you come back at whatever the rate is then. That is the whole deal, stated plainly.

Your annual renewal stays at $399 (Layer) or $899 (Floor) for as long as your membership remains continuously active. If list prices go up, yours does not. If you cancel and the membership lapses, the lock ends, and rejoining later is at whatever the rate is then.
